explanation: Temple built in 1617 at Tokyo as a "child temple" of Nishi Honganji of Kyoto. Initial building was at Asakusa district but moved to the actual place of Tsukiji (Tsukiji means "reclaimed land") after being burned down by a great fire of 1657. After a destruction by the "Great Earthquake of Kanto" in 1923, it was rebuilt in 1934 with a flavor of Indian style.
