explanation: Town located in the south-east of Hyogo Prefecture, facing Inland Sea. Its population is 1.4 million. It had been well known as a good harbor since old time. After opened for foreign ships in 1868, it has continued to develop to become the second largest harbor in Japan after Yokohama. By reclaiming continuously lands, many piers and industry zones have been constructed. Great earthquake of January 1995 destroyed most of its districts and made more than 5000 victims.
