explanation: Born in February 1942 in Kanagawa prefecture in a politician family. After graduated at Keio university, he debuted the political carrier as secretary of ex prime minister, Fukuda Takeo. He was then elected 10 times in Japanese parliament with the ticket of Liberal democratic party (Jiminto) and occupied different ministerial posts. He was elected as 87th Japanese prime minister in April 2001 under a pressure of the public opinion which wished a profound reform of Japan.
