explanation: Garden located near Kanazawa castle. It was built by Lord Maeda Narinaga in 1819 and completed at the epoch of his son, Nariyasu. The latter gave also the name of Kenrokuen because it owns 6 Japanese garden's virtues: vastness, tranquillity, human effort, oldness, waters, view. It is a typical "trip around style" (Kaiyu-shiki) garden of Edo period. The snowed view of garden is magnificent. Along with Korakuen and Kairakuen, it belongs to 3 famous Japanese gardens.
