explanation: Manga written by Osamu Tezuka. It tells the tale of a white lion who, raised by humans, returns back to his African home land to become the king of a tribe. The manga version has been published in a monthly magazine "Manga Shonen" between 1950 and 1953, while the anime version has been broadcasted between 1965 and 1967 (the first color TV anime in Japan). The release of Disney's anime, "The lion King" provoked a great controversy because there was too much similitude between 2 movies.
