explanation: Famous street located in the north-west of Paris and runs from "Place de la Concorde" to "Arc de Triomphe" along the historical axis. Though there had been a pasture until 17th century, since le Notre settled it, Champs Elysees has developed quickly. Since 1828, the city of Paris is its owner. Champs Elysees is a paradise in Greek mythology.

explanation: Octagonal place, located at the east end of Champs Elysees and next to Tuileries Garden, it was built in 1755. Initially named "Place Louis XV" to honour the king, it was renamed to "Place de la revolution", when the monarchy was overthrown. explanation: Situated on the western suburb of Paris over 3 towns (Puteaux, Nanterre and Courbevoie), La Defense is the biggest business district in Europe with 150000 workers. In order to cope a lack of office buildings in Paris, the government planed to remodel this area in 1950's.
